*** New Customers ***

THERE IS A $10 CHARGE FOR ANY NEW CUSTOMER QUOTES. If you purchase the service, this fee will be credited. If you are looking for "ballpark" estimates, run your models though services like Ponoko. Pricing will be very similar. Remember, things like 3D printing take a long time, so will often cost a lot more than you might expect. Other options (like laser cutting or CNC milling) may be a better choice. THERE IS NO QUOTE CHARGE FOR RETURNING CUSTOMERS.

If your design requires tooling modifications to obtain High Quality prints / cuts there is an additional cost for the tooling and design services.

Equipment is NOT available for rent. Work is done at our site, with the exception of the 3D Scanner, which has a field charge of $45/hr (includes our technician who will operate the scanner).

*** Small Scale Production Runs ***

Need a small scale production run? Our Laser, ShopBot, and Woodworking Shop are all setup for extended, repeatable, jobs. We'll work with you to streamline the process and save you money. Not available for 3D printing, which is typically used for prototypes.

*** 3D Printing ***

MakerBot Replicator 2 (single color) 3D printer. This printer uses 1.75mm PLA Plastic. We are stocked with several colors from justpla.com -- they are Blue, Purple, Grey/Silver, and Green. See their site for examples of the colors. If you want another color from justpla, please let us know and we'll stock it. We also print in natural/clear.

*** 3D Scanning ***

3D Systems portable (hand-held) Sense Scanner. This is the only equipment which is available for on-site use and it must be operated by us. There is a time and travel charge ($45/hr, minimum 1 hour) for on-site scanning. Portable color scans can capture large objects.

*** Laser Cutting ***

Full Spectrum 45W laser. For acrylic and wood (5mm max). Bed size is 20x12. Price is charged per minute. Material available upon request. We stock a variety of 1/8" transparent and translucent acrylic. Material cost is extra and will be included in your quote, if requested.

The laser is setup for production runs (active cooling and venting), so can be run for extended periods of time.

*** ShopBot Desktop CNC Mill ***

ShopBot has a vac table installed, so your material can be cut without clamping (great for acrylic). It can support 16x24. Charged per minute of machine time, plus $5 per tool change (if necessary).

The ShopBot is setup for production runs (spindle--not a router, active vac table and dust collection), so can be run for extended periods of time. Woodworking and acrylic cutting bits on-hand.

*** Woodworking ***

Drill press, planer, routers, band saw, high-capacity miter saw (can cut a 2x12 at 45 degrees), plate joiner, pocket hole systems, sanding systems, track saw (54" capacity), etc. Equipment can ONLY by operated by our technicians (due to liability issues).
