About me

Hi there!

I've been a 3D printing enthusiast for over 4 years now, working on and modifying a single printer during that time meaning I have an in-depth knowledge in how these machines work.

I currently run 4 printers, which have recently been running nonstop to produce PPE equipment for doctors and care workers in my locality. I have featured in an article in The Times national newspaper and other more regional papers and radio stations. With these printers, I have produced over 1000 masks for key workers, helping in the PPE shortage crisis (links to YouTube video of timelapse and articles at the bottom). The printers are no longer in demand as I have donated these masks to half the care homes in my region, and others seem to have now had PPE deliveries.

I am also an amateur 3D designer - mainly using the industrial-level CAD software Creo, among other more basic platforms such as TinkerCAD and Google SketchUp.

I have a deep interest in engineering - particularly the automotive side. With this, I headed an F1 in Schools which, in our first season, reached the UK National Finals and we came 5th overall. This involved us designing, testing and manufacturing our own F1 car along with establishing a team around it.
