About me
UBC Rapid is an Engineering Design team at UBC that focuses on 3D printing as well as other rapid prototyping technologies. Eventually we are working towards developing printers that are more than 90% printed parts.
We currently have a MendelMax that can print PLA and ABS parts (but we only have PLA filament at the moment). In the future we are going to be building a second MendelMax, and a Rostock printer (which has really high Z-axis capabilities).
We can print as low as a 0.1mm layer height (however we usually use 0.2mm). We are willing to provide prints to the greater Vancouver area, and we are located on the UBC campus.
