Custom-Designed Vw Bus, 60'S Hippie Themed
This 60's Style VW Bus was custom 3D designed using SolidWorks. The bus was printed on my MakerGear M2 machine at .1mm layer height, yielding extraordinary detail. The bus' wheels and axes were printed separately, then attached by hand to allow for free-rotation -- this piece actually rolls!
Once constructed, the bus was custom painted with acrylic, evoking a retro, hippie, psychedelic persona. Finally, the entire bus was glazed to achieve maximum smoothness and paint-protection.
Each bus is 100% one of a kind. It was custom designed, modeled, printed, painted, and finished in -house.
The bus actually rolls!
