Anyone on here ship? If so, it would be nice if it said "ships to: USA, Canada", or "local pickup only" next to each printer.

augustaht - afaik, every printer on makexyz ships. there isn't an option for me as a printer to set "local pickup only"

dgrant - I just assumed most were local pickup, otherwise why would there be this whole "find printers close to you" thing?

lasergnomes - We prefer to work directly but time constraints limit personal interaction when printing for 3+ people a day. We've shipped literally 3 blocks from us... not our choice but we offer it as a service along side our direct hand offs.

augustaht - to clarify, I mean that printers will ship OR do local pickup. I prefer local pickup to but shipping is fine.

particle - I ship as well. I'm in Colorado and I have shipped to various parts of Colorado and New Mexico. I'm about to do a quote for someone in Texas. dgrant, that is a good idea and I'm adding that I ship to my profile.

jms3dprinting - I ship anywhere in the US.
The shipping cost is usually low unless the part is very large and then even en it is likely under $5' usually $3. You can have your part in 2 days of shipping, and the quote, negotiation, invoice, and print process can take several days alone.

bmmal - Yep, I've shipped to Yugoslavia. I often leave support material in place in order to further protect the print while shipping.

anthony_mareno - Yes, shipping for me is not a problem. Usually similar to what jms3dprinting said as it will typically only cost a couple bucks if goin domestic. Int'l is another story.
