bot_guy - Nathan - what might be interesting to do - is - if someone uploads a File that is NOT an STL - if your site could see that is the case - then link to this online tool by 3DTransform - that might be kinda cool and helpful.
I certainly could have used it a while ago.

tanju-b - I just received an RFQ for a Revit Architectural .rvt file. First I encountered a .rvt file and of course I have nothing to process it with

Also with uploading files to cloud based converters, there is the assumption that the file is not proprietary, etc

mnutsch - Thanks for the feedback tanju. 3DTransform doesn't currently support the RVT file format, but I will research it and see if it is something that can be added in the future. I'll also look into adding an encrypted transmission (SSL) support, so that it is safer to convert proprietary files.

brianforbes - It is great practice to have the littlest file size conceivable. Preparing a file for 3D printing can expand the time it takes for the 3D printer programming to cut models. danwebb - The file converter for 3d printing looks and feels great especially given the code was written by a single person only. However I do encounter some errors here and there, and therefore it would be nice if the author check the code for errors and program bugs. Else ask somebody to assist you.
